Estes s\u00e3o alguns dos contrastes que nos rodeiam, que fazem parte do nosso quotidiano e que podem ser observados, analisados e registados atrav\u00e9s de uma perspectiva diferente e pessoal, mas conservando ainda assim a sua ess\u00eancia e realidade intr\u00ednseca.<\/p>\n

As fotografias apresentadas n\u00e3o t\u00eam a pretens\u00e3o de se constituir como uma abordagem exaustiva da vida social e\/ou aspectos singulares de pessoas e locais de Portugal, mas t\u00e3o somente uma forma pr\u00f3pria de observar, entender e transmitir a minha interpreta\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o quotidiano das gentes, das culturas, do patrim\u00f3nio, das viv\u00eancias, dos h\u00e1bitos e costumes, das cren\u00e7as, das atmosferas citadinas ou rurais, atrav\u00e9s de um tipo de fotografia em que se destaca a dimens\u00e3o humana<\/p>\n

Entendo o momento de fotografar como um acto, por vezes, isolado relativamente ao \u201cmundo exterior\u201d mas profundamente envolvido com o ambiente pr\u00f3ximo, especialmente com as pessoas com quem interajo. Em \u00faltima an\u00e1lise, no momento de criar, registar, perpetuar, apenas existo eu e essas pessoas, situa\u00e7\u00f5es ou acontecimentos.<\/p>\n

We \u2013 Others | Friendship – Loneliness | Happiness – Sadness | New – Old | Past – Present | Permanent \u2013 Ephemeral | City \u2013 Countryside | Light – Shadows | Black – White<\/strong><\/p>\n

These are some of the contrasts that surround us, are part of our daily lives and in certain situations can be observed, analyzed and recorded through a different and personal way, however \u00a0keeping its essence and intrinsic reality.<\/p>\n

The photographs were not taken with the intention to constitute a comprehensive approach to social life and \/ or unique aspects of people and places in Portugal. They, however, represent my own observations of daily lives of people with whom I came into contact. The aim is to convey, through photography, my understanding of people, their habits and customs, faith, the background of their heritage in their own environment being in a city or in rural regions.<\/p>\n

I understand the instant of shooting as an act, sometimes, isolated act with no bearing on the \u201coutside world\u201d but it has a great involvement with the immediate sorrounding, particularly with thosepeople who are photographed and with whom I was involved. Ultimately, in the moment of create, register, perpetuate, only me and those people, situations, events, exist.<\/p>\n
