2022 International Photography Contest: Douro Contemporary Heritage \u2013 Alto Douro Wine Region \u2013 20 Years of World Heritage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2022 do Concurso Internacional de Fotografia \u2013 Douro Patrim\u00f3nio Contempor\u00e2neo alia-se \u00e0 celebra\u00e7\u00e3o dos 20 anos da inscri\u00e7\u00e3o do Alto Douro Vinhateiro na lista do Patrim\u00f3nio Mundial, tendo por \u00e2mbito geogr\u00e1fico a \u00e1rea classificada da UNESCO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O objetivo do concurso deste ano \u00e9 captar as mudan\u00e7as\/persist\u00eancias desta paisagem evolutiva e viva nos seus mais diversos aspetos. Al\u00e9m de captar a paisagem, o objetivo \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m sentir, percorrer o Douro atrav\u00e9s das suas gentes, das pr\u00e1ticas e da forma como moldam o territ\u00f3rio vitivin\u00edcola atrav\u00e9s de uma leitura cr\u00edtica do estatuto Patrim\u00f3nio Mundial. Compreender lugares (possivelmente) desconhecidos do territ\u00f3rio e promover um novo olhar sobre a fotografia s\u00e3o os principais objetivos deste concurso, inserido no protocolo mecen\u00e1tico celebrado entre o Museu do Douro e a EDP – Gest\u00e3o da Produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Energia S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As imagens vencedoras do concurso integrar\u00e3o a base de dados \u201cArquivos\u00a0Visuais\u201d do Museu do Douro, sendo o mote para uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o itinerante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O concurso est\u00e1 aberto a todos os fot\u00f3grafos, amadores e profissionais, nacionais e estrangeiros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Os concorrentes devem apresentar as fotos a concurso entre 1 de novembro e 1 de dezembro de 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 edition of the International Photography Contest – Douro Contemporary Heritage joins the celebration of the 20th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the inscription of the Alto Douro Wine Region on the World Heritage List, having the classified area by UNESCO as its geographical scope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of this year’s contest is to capture the changes\/persistencies of this evolving and living landscape in its various aspects. In addition to capturing the landscape, the aim is also to feel, to go through the Douro through its people, its practices and the way they shape the wine-growing territory through a critical reading of the World Heritage status. Understanding (possibly) unknown places of the territory and promoting a new look on photography are the main goals of this contest, which is part of the patronage agreement signed between the Douro Museum and EDP – Gest\u00e3o da Produ\u00e7\u00e3o de Energia S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winning images of the contest will integrate the database “Visual Archives” of the Douro Museum, being the motto for an itinerant exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contest is open to all photographers, amateurs and professionals, national and foreign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contestants must submit their photos to the contest between November 1st<\/sup>\u00a0and December 1st<\/sup>, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
