Open Call for Artists and Photographers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

One month left to submit your work to the Athens Photo Festival 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Athens Photo Festiv<\/a>al<\/a> <\/strong>is accepting submissions from artists and photographers for its exhibition program. The selected works will be on view from 4 June to 28 July, at the Benaki Museum \/ Pireos 138, one of the most prestigious museums in Greece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Festival will feature the work of over 100 artists from all over the world<\/strong>, selected through this international open call. Exploring a variety of cultural, artistic, social, and political perspectives, the festival is dedicated to providing a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, artistic expression, and engagement with photography and visual culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Festival invites projects from the entire spectrum of the photographic medium, ranging from fine art, conceptual, documentary photography, and photojournalism to other media, including video, performance, and installation. In this way, we seek to create a critical dialogue that embraces a variety of expressive means, thematic areas, and approaches \u2013 from a traditional photography background to the most contemporary practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main program will occupy all the exhibition spaces of the Benaki Museum \/ Pireos 138, covering over 3,000 square meters. In addition to the exhibitions, at the core of the Festival, is a multi-layered program of events and initiatives, including educational activities, networking and talent development opportunities, community outreach, and a variety of public programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As obras selecionadas estar\u00e3o expostas de 4 de junho a 28 de julho, no Museu Benaki \/ Pireos 138, um dos museus mais prestigiados da Gr\u00e9cia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Festival contar\u00e1 com o trabalho de mais de 100 artistas de todo o mundo<\/strong>, selecionados atrav\u00e9s desta chamada aberta internacional. Explorando uma variedade de perspetivas culturais, art\u00edsticas, sociais e pol\u00edticas, o festival dedica-se a fornecer uma plataforma din\u00e2mica para a troca de ideias, express\u00e3o art\u00edstica e envolvimento com a fotografia e a cultura visual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Festival convida projetos de todo o espetro do meio fotogr\u00e1fico, desde belas artes, fotografia conceitual, documental e fotojornalismo at\u00e9 outros media, incluindo v\u00eddeo, performance e instala\u00e7\u00e3o. Desta forma, procura criar um di\u00e1logo cr\u00edtico que abranja uma variedade de meios expressivos, \u00e1reas tem\u00e1ticas e abordagens \u2013 desde um background fotogr\u00e1fico tradicional at\u00e9 \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas mais contempor\u00e2neas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O programa principal ocupar\u00e1 todos os espa\u00e7os expositivos do Museu Benaki \/ Pireos 138, abrangendo mais de 3.000 metros quadrados. Al\u00e9m das exposi\u00e7\u00f5es, no centro do Festival est\u00e1 um programa multifacetado de eventos e iniciativas, incluindo atividades educacionais, oportunidades de networking e desenvolvimento de talentos, divulga\u00e7\u00e3o comunit\u00e1ria e uma variedade de programas p\u00fablicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
