Patrícia Reis nasceu em Lisboa, em 1970. Vive numa aldeia perto de Sesimbra. Estudou História e é mestre em Ciência das Religiões. Começou a sua carreira no semanário O Independente, tendo trabalhado posteriormente no Expresso, Público, Marie Claire, Elle e RDP. É autora de vários romances, publicados sob a chancela das Publicações Dom Quixote, e de alguns volumes infanto-juvenis, sendo que a coleção Diário do Micas faz parte do Plano Nacional de Leitura. É editora da revista multipremiada Egoísta, co-apresentadora do podcast Um Género de Conversa e cronista. Escreveu a biografia de Vasco Santana, Maria Antónia Palla, Simone de Oliveira e, em 2024, a de Maria Teresa Horta.
/ Patrícia Reis was born in Lisbon in 1970. She lives in a village near Sesimbra. She studied History and holds a master’s degree in the Science of Religions. She began her career at the weekly newspaper O Independente and later worked for the newspapers Expresso and Público, and the magazines Marie Claire and Elle, and radio station RDP. She is the author of several novels, published by Publicações Dom Quixote, and some children’s books, including the collection Diário do Micas, which is part of the Portuguese National Reading Plan. She is the editor of the multi-award-winning magazine Egoísta, co-host of the podcast Um Género de Conversa and a columnist. She wrote the biographies of Vasco Santana, Maria Antónia Palla, Simone de Oliveira, and Maria Teresa Horta, to be published in 2024.
